Hi guys,
I'm going to be brewing my first Hefeweizen this weekend and would like to have your opinion on my recipe.

Grain
8.5lb Wheat
4.5lb Vienna Malt
1lb Rice Hulls

Hops
0.5oz Saaz @ 60mins
0.5oz Cascade @ 60mins
or
1oz Saaz @ 60mins

Yeast
Fermentis WB-06

I've only seen hefe recipes with pilsner malt as the main malt, but I only have Vienna and Munich left at my place so I was wondering if the Vienna would make a significant change to the usual hefe taste?
Or should I just order more pilsner malt for this batch? and if using pilsner for a Hefeweizen, do I need to do a 90 minute boil?

Thanks!

Just brewed one this weekend...rebrew of one that went over very well during superbowl...

5gal batch

5lbs Wheat malt
5lbs Pilsen Malt
.5oz Saaz FWH
.25oz Saaz @ 30 min
.25oz @ 15 min
Yeast WB-06

mash temp 149F for 90min
Ferment @ 70F
