I will be doing my first AG batch with NB dead ringer IPA. My questions pertain to the instructions and if anyone could give me some advice who's brewed the AG.
Is there any info that the batch sheet does not tell you that I should know?
Or, do I follow it to a T?
This is what I'm working with:
36 QT SS Bayou
Bayou SQ14
10 Gal mash tun w/ss false bottom
Will be batch sparging for this first attempt
Also, I've read articles where it says "switching to all grain is easy, all you need is a mash tun". But don't you need a an extra pot to heat more water up when you drain the mash tun?
Am I confusing myself?
