New to brewing and decided to go all grain on 3rd batch. So I made a recipe for a strong wit and used wlp400 yeast with a starter, and brewed it last weekend. Its been sitting in pri. bubbling away all week and I was wondering if it needed more than 4 weeks in pri. before bottling. It started ferm. within 5 hours of pitching, and was pretty vigorous for 4 days and has now slowed quite a bit. Thanks for your help.

6 LBS.-pale 2 row
4 LBS-white wheat
.5LBS-wheat flake
.8LBS-chrystal 10
.25LBS-biscuit
.5LBS-rice hulls
1LB-light candy sugar
coriander & bitter org.
ferment temps started @68 and have kept @70 since

1.072 O.G.

I wasnt even going to open up the bucket until 3 weeks-since it's only been in for a week I dont know. Should be fg of 1.018 or so according to recipe software. Forgot to mention 1.5 oz Styrian gold hops and 1 oz Saaz

I did a wit that was very similar to that recipe but a little lower on the OG and it was perfect after about 3.5 weeks in primary and 4 weeks in the bottle

Thanks. I just wasnt sure if it would need a lot more time due to og being higher than normal. I went high just in case my eff. wasnt very good, but ended up with close to 80%

Just took gravity sample and is down to 1.010-wow-and there is still an inch of krausen on top. It was only suppose to get to1.018, so how low will it go? BTW it tastes great, I want to bottle now or drink straight from the bucket!
