Ist got this in today from eBay. 18 tip natural gas burner. Has the 1/2" inlet. Plug and play. Burns mostly clean. Any suggestions on how to maintain solid blue flame? Or does that matter at all.

Full rolling boil of 6.5 gallons from 66-212 took right at 38 min. half what I was getting on stovetop.

Lots of what I've read says you can't control these much at all. But I've been able to turn this down to quite a petite flame.

Let me know what you think.

Looks like it's burning pretty clean.

Due to the lack of ability to control heat level across a decent range, I'm replacing my 23 jet natural gas burners with hurricane burners jetted for natural gas.

Yeah. I was fairly pleased at how well I could tune this down to a flicker. I took another pic to shoe that. Even still, I'm going to look at plugging a couple of these tips just to fine tune it sone.
