Hi all,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 15 gal stout tanks HLT,MT,BK trio to be the base of an electric herms setup modeled after the electricbrewery.com concept.
I noticed that the flange for the ouputs of those tanks (below thermometer) seem quite long. I'm a little concerned about reasonable bench depth. The output flange/valve/and potentially temp probe T will be at the 6:00 with the element power cable at the 12:00. All things added up we are looking from wall to hose output quite a long distance if the diameter of the tank is 15.75".
Can anyone that has this setup or a similar size setup comment on this? from both a cleaning perspective and an operation/logistics perspective?
Thanks!
Note: called stout and they weren't able to provide the flange length.
