Im so itching to start a new beer but unfortunately i work construction in vegas which has almosted come to a complete stop plus trying to save money for christmas. I got a lst of beers I wanna brew and its killing me. Right now Im taking an inventory on the grains and hops i have left over from other brews so i might be able to put together a beer for like $20 this sucks !!!!

I've found that I save so much money by not celebrating X-Mas (I'm against corperate "holy days", Valentimes Day, Mothers Day, etc etc etc). Just tell people this year that you aren't celebrating and spend the money on beer! :mug:

well just think this time next year you money will be going to the health tax and you will not have money for both so be happy that you can have one last christmas and one last brew session before we all have to make up for the lazy

sorry this might be more like whining then drunkin rambling but i have had alot to drink and i am rambleing
Nah, once you start talking about avacados, then you'll be rambeling....

My money's going to the noncompliance fine and jail time resulting from said noncompliance ;)

Understand, poor cash-flow bites. Mine is caused by the low interest rates, companies cutting dividends and having to sell investments at a loss to cover expenses. And there isn't a company within 400 miles that can use my skill set, so un-retiring isn't an option without moving.

On the plus side, the greyhounds don't know it's the holidays. Just that it's raining when we should be out walking.

Money blows. Really though bro, if times are tough, dont buy gifts. If anyone gets offended that you are trying to remain financially stable, then they are shallow.

We lucked out, our investments are up over the past 24 mo. and we are selling off to pay down half the mortgage this Xmas. Right now, paying off the morgage will net us more than the market it seems, so we are going that route.

I say, forego the Xmas gifts and enjoy time with family and feel content that you are keeping your finances fluid.

that is what im saying but my daughter and the wife says youll pay or youll get effed in jail which one, i said jail and then the fight started, haha[/QUOTE]

Lol, it's amazing how many political discussions end up with people fighting.

Bottom line, these people that will be getting the gifts, wont be paying the electric bill when the $$ runs out. So dont extend yourself if it is going to compromise your finances.

Just like my kids wont be supporting me in retirement, that is why my retirement is funded before thier college tuition... they arent going to be supporting me. Take care of you first, because no one else will.
