I keep hearing about making 10gal batches. When I look up ten gallon carboys I can't find anything. What, where, and how do you go about making these larger batches. What do I need or do people just double up on 6.5 carboys ?
a couple ale pales. they're easy to store, clean and fairly cheap

i have a 12 gallon conical i use for a lot of my 10 gallon batches. But lots of times i'll brew 10 gallons and split it into 2 buckets with different yeasts, or dry hop them differently once fermentation is done. I even do this with low gravity 15 gallon batches to get 3 different beers from one boil kettle.
