Me and a friend are going to buy some 15 gal kettles. Something like, one 15 gal with a ball valve only, & one with ball valve & brewmometer. I'm leaning toward northern brewers mega kettle $240 & $280. Thought we should ask you all for your recommendation of best of quality & value. Thanks, Luke & Tom

As for quality, those are great, but value wise you can't beat a $40 converted keg from craigslist. I've been using one for about a year now, and have no complaints. Put a weld less 1/2" SS ball valve, and a SS false bottom kit on it and it works great.
