1 Barrel System

I am thinking to put some money into a 1 barrel system. I already a wish list.

Would you think that a 100,000 BTU burner would work?

I use a banjo burner with a high pressure regulator.

It works well. They are rated at 210,000 btu

Just about any size burner will "work". It depends on ambient temp and conditions (like wind), whether the kettle is insulated, how vigorous a boil you want, whether you use a chimney or not and what size, what sort of rise time you want, and so forth.

Not with the kettles I use. They are pretty thick stainless.

Not triclad. Just very thick. Process tanks of some sort.
