I ordered a bunch of new stuff including a valve for my kettle, a chugger pump, and a CFC. All my tubing, quick disconnects, and valves are 1/2" however I now realize my CFC is 3/8". What's the best way to get the 1/2" tubing coming out of my boil kettle to connect to the 3/8" copper tubing on my CFC? I plan to whirlpool it back into the boil kettle for a bit to bring the overall wort under 140F before I run it to my fermentation bucket, will 3/8" tube still create a good whirlpool in the boil kettle?

I used a 3/8 compression to 1/2" mpt fitting, then put a quick disconnect on the 1/2 mpt to connect my silicone hose to.

I don't have any issues running a 3/8 whirlpool tube.
