1/2" NPT Thermometer

Just got my fittings from bargainfittings.com and need a 1/2" NPT thermometer to put in the sight glass / therm fitting. According to Wayne at BF, it should have at least a 4" probe.

So any thoughts on the best place to get one of these? Do probe thermometers differ vastly in quality?

Wow, I just ordered the same thing through bargainfittings.com. I ordered the Blichman Thermometer from AHS. Pretty sure it will match up.

Bargain Fittings is pretty awesome too. This is my second purchase from them. My orders are always shipped that day or the next and the prices cannot be beat. The weldless bulkhead I ordered a few months ago works great too.

Aww crap! I bought one of these locally, for about $8.00 more!

I use mine in the same setup you're describing. So far so good. I've got the 6" model, and it sticks out into the HLT about 1.5" or so IIRC.
