I have a bit of a cold but man I could use Pa's Porter for some pick me up.
 
If not drunk, well buzzed.

Might actually be brewing tonight, if I can get my **** together.

Otherwise we'll brew tomorrow and drink plenty tonight :)
 
Ya, the BIL and a buddy are coming over in a little bit. We're probably going to kill the rest of my HB stock minus the stuff I've got to send out after this weather clears a bit.

I'm sure I'll be hitting the chat nice and toasty a little later. Perhaps some late night Poker Stars Hold Em is in order too!
 
I'll probably do some drunk typing later tonight also. See you guys then. Unless my wife gets drunk too, then I'll see you ten minutes later than that.
 
Should be. Unless the Bigfoot I stumbled across at the store kicks my a$$.

SWMBO is gone 'til Tuesday in Hampton, VA. Heading over to my (always) drunken buddies house for some steaks on the grill. Yea, I'll be a drinken.

BTW Dude, the wife just called and they just sat down for a drink and a bite to eat - My time spent here freaks here out. Run over to wherever the Applebees is and scream out "Angela! I'm one of Jeff's HBT Stalkers!" in your fatigues. If nobody responds, try the next Applebees. ;)

Drinking my Hefe tonight. Wings on the Big Green Egg. Haven't eaten yet, buzz is starting.

The fish fry was great! As was the barley wine and the beer the brew pub called Triple Treat, a beer brewed with barley malt, wheat, rye and honey. I needed light beer after my barley wine. Now it's Euchre and homebrew time. I think I'll open with an Irish-American Red, then maybe an IPA
 
I have to head over to my girlfriends house and talk to her incredibly religious righteous father about why i can't date his daughter after all this time. I'm sure when i get back from that i'll be pounding some apfelwein. :(
 
Just flew in from Vegas after a 4 day bender.

Am I getting drunk?

Am I staying drunk is more like it.

I need another beer.

Good grief, I actually just woke up front my alcohol parade last night.

Had originally just planned on kicking a few back with a buddy that was in town, but that all changed when we ran into SWMBO's friends at the bar and it was smooth sailing from there on out. Was a lot of fun, but oi..

We started off at the house and pulled off a couple of 'taster' pints from the Caramel Cream Ale and a Founders Breakfast Stout. From the house we moved to bar number one, already with a nice warm fuzzy feeling. They had $2 Blue Moons going on there, so 3-more down the hatch and we're off to bar number two and countless more Blue Moons were chasing the first batch.

Was a lot of fun but I haven't been that big of a pain train in quite awhile. SWMBO said that after she heard me praying to the porcelain god, she peeked at the edge of the door and my hair was sticking out from underneath the door crack because I was laying on the floor on the cold tile, haha.

Ah well, good times!
 
Ugh - way too much fun last night. I briefly came onto here when I got home, saw the chat going on but things started spinning a bit. Went promptly to bed. I never yak however; haven't in 20+ years. Sometimes I think I'd be better off if I did.

Me too. I tried to join the chat but it was too hard staying involved with only one eye reading and three hands typing.
 
Friend is coming over and we're going going to brew a batch. First shot at a mini-mash.:rockin:

Probably need to start the party with a Deschutes Abyss and then off into the land of Centennial IPA.
 
I've only had one beer and I'm samangshdt! Let's see, one Annoying Barstard IPA, one Imitation Cheesefood Caramel Cream ale, and one McKenna's Irish Stout. OK so maybe I'm a lil drink I should go to bed.

oh god the wort! I gotta pitch the yeast first!
