Tasting Notes
Hopstanding
"Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that the hop is. Let us estimate these two chances. If you drink, you drink all; if you don't drink, you drink nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation that the hop is, for there is nothing but infinity of hopiness to gain and nothing to lose"

Fermentables:
6lbs LME - Pilsen
1/4lb Corn Sugar - Dextrose (Late addition, last 15 minutes of boil)

Steeping Grains (Steep for 30 minutes at 155):
0.75 lb American - Caramel / Crystal 20L
0.25 lb American - Carapils

Total hops (2 ounces Cascade, 1.5 ounces Citra, 1.5 ounces Galaxy, 1.5 ounces Amarillo, 1.5 ounces Simcoe) <--- All hops are pellet

1 ounce Cascade @60min
1/2 ounce each of Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo and Simcoe @15min
1/2 ounce each of Cascade, Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo and Simcoe @5min
1/2 ounce each of Cascade, Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo and Simcoe (Dryhop for 7 days after fermentation complete)

Fermented in primary for 2 weeks. Fermentation temp controlled at 68 degrees. At 2 week mark I dry hopped for 7 days by adding pellets directly to primary (no bag). Bottled on day 21 with 5 ounces of priming sugar. Enjoyed fully carbonated 1 week later.

"You must wager, it is not optional."
