I started out with 2 lbs of flaked corn, 7 lbs of American 2 row, half a pound of caradils, half a box of bisquick 4 pieces of maple sausage, I'm calling it pigs in a blanket ale!

I think the caradils will help bring this brew to shine above other recipes. (dill pickle flavored malt). I think I would have saved the sausage for the secondary (dry hogging).
On Basic Brewing Radio they refer to it as "dry porking".

Why not just add sage, red pepper, maple syrup and biscuit malt?
Then stick a sausage party on the glass blue moon style
