How Best to Deal with Removing Hops from Wort

I use the nylon bag (http://www.midwestsupplies.com/nylon-boiling-bag-8-x-9-in.html), and when I am done just dump the hops in the trash, then take the bag inside and rinse it out in hot water. The bag comes clean, though is a little discolored now. Still works fine.

moving a full carboy "safely" !

I use the plastic Better Bottles, and have had no problems using the handles. But I can see what people are talking about using the glass carboys.

It's hard not to worry... so like others have said RDWHAHB. If you followed instructions, things should go well. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

    Help choosing brew kettle

I just bought two stainless steel pots off of overstock.com. The first was a 60 qt pot, and the second a 32 qt pot. Both were less than $100 each, which was much cheaper than I've seen elsewhere for stainless.

    Just finished my first brew

So after reading the boards for a few weeks now, I went ahead and made my first brew this afternoon - a Raspberry Wheat from Midwest. Have to say that everything went smoothly and was easier than I thought it would be and brewed it as a full boil. Started with an OG of 1.042 (which was...
