    how many btu's needed to boil?

    How many BTU's does a LP gas burner need to boil 7 gal of water.I looking at prices on turkey fryers and a few two burner stands .overall I looking for the cheep way to hit a rolling boil. Thank you for your help

    So I got a sweet grinder after deer season .would a grinder work for crushing grains? If so any advice on doing so. My wife is not big on me buying more brewing stuff now ;(

    bad yeast? bew day help

    I have had a white labs English ale yeast out at room temp for a hour and just looks clumpy after shaking up.should I still use it?

    Is 1/4 in x 20 feet soft brass pipe to small ? Seen some for $16. figer half the price of 1/2in pipe and I could make a nice wort cooler with a small water pump to move ice water for under $40.what do you guy think thank you tom f

    first all grain

    Soo I did a midwest kit "liberty cream ale" all grain that I brewed on superbowl Sunday.I bottled it on march 8 .I got together with some family so I iced down two 22 bottles.yes I knew it was green but my cousin and uncle got me in home brewing and i wanted to try it.wow still not fully carbed...

    AG first bach on sunday

    My wife is off to vermont this weekend and I have Sunday and Monday off.I am I crazy to try ag after my first bach of extract? I got a kit from midwest "liberty cream ale " primo dry yeast cuz I am cheep.I just tuned a igloo cube cooler to a mash turn tonight, with a carb in it and ball...

    alcotec yeast

    Has any one used this "turbo yeast" in high gavity beer?said on the pack it good up to 20% alcohol.It has yeast nutrient in it soo maybe good for hard cider? I have had it for some time befor I got read up on homebrewing just want to use it befor it has exp on 2/2011 thank you tom feenaughty

    how long will my beer keep

    Ok my frist brew is a irish stout all extract.after I bottle it how long will it keep? 1)my first home brew 2)frist christmas in ower new/frist house I want to bottle it on christmas day and drink one every christmas :)

    hi all, just finished my very first home brew.I went cheep and simple for $16 i used mountmellick Irish style stout that is hopped.Came with a pack of dry yeast.cleaning and sanitize took up more time than making it. thank you all for a cool info filled site:rockin: feenaughty
