Also about a mixed pallet ( 2 row, pilsner, ETC). Just brewed a hitchino nest white. Awsome brew, in the secondary now can't wait to bottle!!

    Cloudy as hell!

    To all happy holidays, I'm happy to report all of your advice worked. Extra secondary cleared this up nicely. I bottled Friday and am waiting for Christmas day to enjoy!! A small sample from the bottling bucket promises a fantastic brew. Lenny

    This beer was in the primary for a week. I'm leaving it in the secondary another two weeks. I used WLP500 trappist. Thanks all for the info, I know this is suposed to be a bit cloudy but right now it's almost muddy. I'll repost when I bottle. Lenny

    I have a problem with my Du monde clone. When I drained into my fermenter the wort seperated and was clear, orange gold slight corriander and hops aroma. The problem happened after primary fermentation. When I racked to the secondary the beer is really cloudy. No sign of infection no off odors...

    Fin du monde

    Hey guy's tomorrow we brew!! My recipe calls for grated orange rind in the primary ferment.Will I have better orange flavor if I put the rind into the secondary? This brew is going to sit for 2 weeks in the secondary before bottling. What do you think?

    Greetings from CT

    Hi all I'm Lenny from CT. I've been brewing for about 6 years. It's always been extract with grains. 2 weeks ago I brewed my first AG. Going to bottle tomorrow. This is the way to go. As they say on brew tv all for brew/brew for all. Happy new year to all.:mug:
