Not my usual brew...a little help??

I'd like to experiment with some strawberries, cascade, and honey. An ale of some sort. I have a month or so to work out the details. Any info you can give on using these in a GF brew?

Great! Glad I asked about the yeast! I'm sure fruit is gluten free. How does that do in GF beer?

Not my usual brew...a little help??

My husband and I will be trying to get pregnant here soon...I have a few more breweries on my to-do list first:tank:. During my pregnancy, I promised my BF that I would brew her as much gluten-free beer as she wants. Since I'm only familiar with regular old brew, I have no idea what contains...

Usually us MP's don't like you jumpers but you're alright :D I'll definitely take a reading before I re-pitch. Thanks for the advice!

    Pumpkin Spice

How did it turn out? Was the fermentation normal? The only thing I'm really worried about is the short ferment. Maybe I'll try re-pitching this weekend. Thanks for the feedback.

    Pumpkin Spice

Anyone else try a pumpkin spice ale? I searched the forum, there's not a whole lot posted on using the pumpkin spice (spice) as an ingredient.

wheat fruit beer turned out AWESOME!

Glad it turned out well. I heard the same about the boiling. I boiled some raz but I wonder if that takes the fresh taste out of the berries or produces off flavors. Guess I'll find out!

    Carbonation Question???

I guess I'm lost, it's not hard for me.... A month or two is needed to be out of the bottle bomb threat? It had two weeks in the primary 60-65 F. Racked it to the secondary and let it sit for another two weeks same temp. Primed and bottled. Now it's carbonation is just right and it's only been...

    Carbonation Question???

Bottled my beer last Tuesday. It looked great (clear) and smelled awesome. It had a slight carbonation in it when I bottled. I stuck a bottle in the fridge yesterday morning to enjoy it after work. It was perfect! My first brew kicked a$$. BTW it's a Belgium Honey Ale. Some of you might...

    Fermenting out the airlock

My local hardware had just run out of the tubing I needed so I just kept cleaning the airlock out or replacing it with a with my extra (sanitized one). I was worried about an infection. It's my first attempt at a wheat, so I assume that there will be a slightly different smell to it than an...

    Fermenting out the airlock

Is there anything wrong with allowing it to spew out the lock? I couldn't get the hose in time.
