It did have some hop particles in the QD. But not much. I did do a test run after with water and it worked just fine. So it had to be the hop debris. Thanks for all the help.

    Difficulty with closed transfers

Hi, Today I tried to do my 2nd closed transfer from my spike conical to a corney keg. I have read that I should transfer through the "keg out" side and down the diptube. After purging the keg and attaching everything, my beer wouldnt transfer. I need some guidance. I pressured my conical to...

No complaints. I have the cf 10. I wish the accessory for the CO2 input was available sooner, but I put something together that works fine. Enjoy

    Unitank (Spike) setup scenarios

So would you just take off the racking cane and place the T on? or could you use a cross with the racking cane and a ball valve at the end?

    Lambic and Flanders Red Advice

I am posting after a 2.5 year break from brewing. I renewed my brewing this weekend with an IPA , but i have some questions regarding a lambic and a flanders Red I brewed 3 years ago. My last brews were those wild ales and I let them sit and ferment. The lambic was brewed on 7/30/12. Now I am...

    Bottling question

Whats the rush, if its still fermenting, let it role. Maybe you can send it to a secondary fermentor. I think if its still fermenting and there is still sugar for the taking...then you add more sugar for priming for bottling...that could be an issue. It could be 65 degrees may have slowed the...
