Still making bad beer after 30+ batches.

This has been an epic read. I feel so bad for you OP, I can't imagine what it would be like to have to dump pretty much every batch I'd ever made. I'm also amazed that your wife still (seemingly) supports you. Mine would have hauled all my equipment to the dump herself if the same thing had...

    Official Broken Hydrometer Count

2134 The kids knocked the bucket that it was in with some other stuff off the top of the fridge looking for something last night. I think one of them even stepped on the fat end of it, as it was crushed. Yay.

    New uses for beer kegs

The only thing that I can get my hands on that inactivates palytoxin is bleach. High molar concentration HCL will do the trick, but that is hard to get. I just might do the boiling water thing, just to be sure. Thanks again!

    New uses for beer kegs

Nope, no zoanthids, just rock and fish. This poor guy didn't have a clue what he was doing, nor did he have the lights for even softies. I have already oxycleaned the hell out of them, giving each a flush of about 30 minutes with fresh water. I'm not terribly worried about it. Makes you wonder...

    New uses for beer kegs

Just thought I'd post this up to see if anyone was as crazy as I am. I haven't been brewing lately, due to the heat, and found a new use for a keg. So a guy that I work with gave me his 75 gallon saltwater tank and everything in it. I ended up using cornys and several Sankey kegs to move all...

What do you guys store your empty beer bottles in?

I'm kinda surprised that "milk crates" hasn't been posted yet. I can get 25 bottles in one, and they are stackable. It might be tight with some bottles, but my bottle herd is mostly Paulaner bottles, so they all fit with just enough room. YMMV.

    My rented home (a rant)

I think I'd start looking for a new place, especially one with less ******* neighbors. Too bad nobody here posts up places for sale or rent, at least not that I have seen. You would never have trouble brewing. :ban:
