    Clear beer from a conical

    I have the 3 gallon Fast Ferment. I lay a butter knife beside it. When I walk by it, or think about it, I gently tap the bottom of the fermenter where the yeast sticks. This will dislodge pretty much everything and allow it to fall into the jar.

    How to secondary with fast ferment conical?

    Helpful Hint: Yeast settles on the sides of the fermenter above the collection ball/jar (at least it does on my FastFerment). I use a butter knife and gently tap the fermenter above the ball/jar a couple of times every day (if I can remember). This helps all the yeast settle into the ball/jar.

    Just finished my second BIAB

    About 25 years ago I brewed a batch using an extract kit, about 6 weeks ago I did a 2.5 gallon BIAB Brown Ale, and today I did a 5.5 gallon BIAB Black Lager. Found the recipe online.     Better deal than this?
