    Running burner off house propane

Their website states “This also fits Blichmann Top Tier and Floor Standing Burners, as well as the Bayou Classic BG14 burner. It does not fit the Bayou Classic BG10 burner.” My understanding is that the hellfire is a Blichmann Floor Standing Burner.

    Running burner off house propane

I live in the country - nowhere near natural gas. Since I have a 1000 gallon tank buried in my yard and have been getting it filled with propane for the last 14 years I’ve lived in this house; yes, I’m sure it is propane.

    Running burner off house propane

I‘ve got a quick connect line out to my bbq so I figured why not try & hook up my hellfire burner to it. Save my getting #20 propane tanks refilled. Bought a “Hurricane Burner LPG Gas Valve“ from Williams brewing & hooked it up to my hellfire. All I get are big yellow flames - not nice blue...

Regulator for hooking burner to house propane

I have a Blichman hellfire burner that I would like to hook up to the quick connect that comes out of my house; it’s propane. I’ve looked online, with no luck, trying to find a regulator with a quick connect fitting that will replace the one currently on the hellfire. Anyone know where I can...

    Garden hose adapter for Moen

I just put in new faucets and now am searching for a garden hose adapter to fit. The faucets are Moen Noell. The aerator comes off, but the diameter of the part that the aerator screws on is a lot larger than any of the adapters that I can find. (Looked at Lowes, Home Depot and tried all the...

O rings for corny keg pressure relief valve

To be honest, I’m not sure how I loose them. I always take everything apart to clean the kegs. So maybe they come off when I unscrew them. Not really sure. But I’m gonna pay more attention in the future.

O rings for corny keg pressure relief valve

Anybody know where to get them? I’ve lost three in the last month! Here’s a pic of two of the valves without the o rings. :(

    Bad Yeast?

Revvy - yep, it was just an ugly yeast. I could see the krausen in the flask, googled some pics of curdled yeast; so figured everything was ok. You're right, should have posted a pic.... At any rate, I brewed yesterday, pitched the curdled yeast and that batch is fermenting big time. Thanks

    Bad Yeast?

I've made quite a few starters & have not seen this "curdled milk" thing going on. I wasn't asking how to make a starter, just wondering if anyone has seen this before. And if the yeast is bad.

    Bad Yeast?

I just did a starter for my yeast, 1/2 cup dme & 4 cups of water, cooled it to 65, and pitched my yeast. Yeast was white labs wlp001 cali ale yeast. So a day later, I see some stuff that looks like bad milk in your coffee in the flask on my stir plate. Is this bad yeast?
