Hey Guys, First time using Nectaron here (got 1 lbs), got some cryo citra/mosaic/simcoe and I7/el dorado T90 Is nectaron more citrus or tropical fruit? All Nectaron in the DH? Thanks

So I brewed 3 neipa and used crypop at 3 differents stage. 1: WP(20%)+DH (80%) 2: DH only cryo 6 oz (100%) 3: DH Citra Lupomax 2oz pack + DH Cryo Pop 4oz no bio TLDR those CryoPop are a real cheat code for ultra fruity neipa with 0 vegetable. If you have problems with harshness in your neipas...

After 3 days of DH, I cold crash 24/48h. I let the Hop inside, no more dump. Let the beer alone meant don't rush the beer. Let it ferment and diacetyl test it before kegging it.

Brewed like 20+ Neipa in a Chonical and the last 10+ are in a Fermzilla All rounder and noticed 0 difference when I was dumping yeast or hops. The fact that I DH cold 50-55F don't restart the yeast. I don't say don't drop the yeast (you should if you can) but I ended up lossing like 1 gal of...

I'd say both. And even the 5-10 min boil addition add a missing layer for me. Unfortunately there is no shorth answers for that but yeah if you go heavy with some varieties of hops you can get some harsh and bitter flavor. been there done that. Here is some things that improved my DH overtime...

Testing Cryo Pop™ Original Blend tomorrow, I wonder if I should boost the Dry hop even if it's cryo? Yeast: Hydra Escarpment lab

Someone used Cryo Pop Original Blend from Yakima Chief? Just bought a pound of it and was about to go 100% WP/DH Cryo Pop.

I'v used Foggy London from escarpment lab x8. Great yeast, it's just another 1318 but everybatch I made was juicy juicy. And they are a great company as well.

I made very good NEIPA with the all rounder. You can shake it easily and can see the dry hop working out/settle. I would suggest a good cold crash since you don't have any dump valve. Also, the floating dip tube is really nice to have "clean" beer. It's also really good for pressure fermented...

Would be cool but specsheet say "once opened, use within 1 month" That's a lot of brew in 1 month!

Both! and tested it with 2 diff hydrometers.

    Lallemand Verdant IPA Ale

Got a pretty high attenuation on this batch with 1 packet (mashed at 152F-153F)... Sample at 1.007 taste really good! (more like a 1.012-14). There is no infection and fermenter was clean as usual. It's the first time I am pitching this yeast nutrient in a batch : could be that. Edit: brewed...

Same as Dgallo 6gal in the fermenter. I'm using a Grainfather G30 so you get 5gal of pure beer in the keg while having 6 gal in the fermenter. I lost approx 1 gal in the fermenter (dropping yeast, dry hop absorbtion, dumping dryhop before kegging)

Out of topic but saw Mangrove M66 HopHead Ale Yeast at the homebrewshop fridge... Googled it but not much information about this yeast. Is it a dry LA3 like verdant or Dry conan like lallemand NE? I bought a packet just for fun.

Ssbrewtech temp controller with water at 5-6c. I can go easily to 50f within 20-30 min. But is it worth waiting 24h of 50f crashing just to dump trub before pitching yeast???

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Stupid question but as I have a conical fermenter, is it ok to dump trub from the bottom valve after 24/36h when fermentation is kicking on? I always wonder after 6 years of brewing if it will suck some needed yeast with the trub.

I have the All-Rounder and you absolutely need a jar adjustable opener to close/open it. This is mandatory unless you take juice :P
