    Show us your Kegerator

I had a lot of fun building my keezer, but I have had more fun pouring a cold fresh homebrew whenever I am in the mood! 😜🍻

    What's your next brew? Why?

I am making a chocolate porter that I put together with the help of my lhbs. Called it Muddy Paws! Decided to do it for no particular reason!

    Dry hopping

Thanks! I was going to try adding fruit and seeing what comes of it, but maybe I will just leave it a bit longer in secondary and see what comes of it!

    Dry hopping

Made an all grin weizen and I am not happy with the final product. I think temps were a bit too low causing the abv to be way too low, 3.5%. Instead of dumping it I thought I would experiment. I was think of adding something to the secondary like dry hopping for aroma. Is there a hops that would...

    Transitioning to All Grain

I am ready to start making an all grain 5 gallon brew. I am wondering if anyone has tried splitting the grain up in to 3-4 grain bags and putting them in a 40qt pot with 8 gallons or water. If so, how did it go? Thanks!

To dump or not to dump?

To dump or not to dump?

I made a wheat ale and added a can of cherries from the lhbs in the secondary. Just tapped the keg and it has a sour flavor. Should I dump it or take it out of the keezer and let sit in a dark corner for a couple of weeks? Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Sour flavor

I made a basic wheat ale and then added a can of cherries that i got from the lhbs. Now that its in the keg it has a sour flavor. Not real strong but i can taste it. Do you think i should dump it?

    Porter learning curve

Great point! I am at the point where I am going to create my own porter recipe and I would hate to waste the money on an overpowering flavored porter. Maybe a hint of coffee and vanilla.

    Porter learning curve

When trying a new all grain porter recipe what went wrong, what did you learn from it and how did it turn out the second time around?

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I just brewed an American wheat beer that I would like to add some cherries to. I have a 3lb can of cherry puree and I will add it to secondary fermentation. I think I would like to put it in a muslin bag, in a big mouth bubbler, to avoid transferring larger pieces of fruit to the keg...
