    BIAB Mash Question

    I usually mash for at least 75 to 90 minutes rather than 60 just so I can get as high efficiency as possible. My question is does a longer mash have any possible negative affect or is it basically once conversion is done it's done?

    Wyeast Fail

    Brewing an American Pale and I thought I had smacked the pack and popped the yeast but when I went to pitch the pack hadn't burst. It's only a 3 gallon batch so I feel like it'll be ok just wanted some confirmation from some more experienced brewers.
