    PicoBrew Zymatic

I'm brewing on the Z and noting the signifigant differences between it and the Zymatic. I have rought 700 Zymatic batches on the books. I'm really liking what's happening so far. It's a bit faster and quieter - the pumps are different and footed. The wort redirects with a tentacle pump - much...

Another falsehood. Zx Ventures is a minority debt holder. PicoBrew itself is majority owned by the employees of the company. Cheers!

You have some bad information - and no one wants your recipes! No one wants mine, either, but if they do, I'm happy to share. Herbfarm is a member of the PBN - the program I run. All PBN members have a seperate signed license agreement with PicoBrew - recipes are proprietary to the...

That's nice - the new Z screens a somewhat similar - but the shape is different as the StepFilter is very different. I'll try and post some pictures for you peeps!

All Zymatic machines were hand-built. Most of the Z will be hand built. Parts of it can be assembled by parts manufacturers' - we will be assembling them at our facility in Renton, WA. Cheers!

    Mangrove Jack Empire Ale M15

I report that this yeast is a slow starter and stalled on my batch of Porter. I now put it in the hate ingredients category next to Pride of Ringwood and Fuggles hops.

They're going out in batches. Each one is getting thoroughly tested and there were a lot. They go out in the order received. If you write to us [email protected] they will give you a more specific date range. I'll ask at work today and post what I've been told. Cheers

You should use the bypass if going more than 7 degrees F. Anything under is finevto heat through the mash.

You gotta hot water rinse after every brew. If you wait a month between brews, run a deep clean then a hot water rinse. I cannot imagine this being any different for the Brewie than our Zymatic. You don't want it to sieze up. Bad!

Thanks... I know firsthand how hard it is to bring a product to market. We're 60 employees now. We brought the Z to the market in 2013 and started shipping that fall of 2014. Improvements take time and we listen to our customers, some of which are the best complainers in the world but their...

I am just speaking from experience. We had our share of issues getting the Zymatic out. We are three products out now with more on the way. We just hired employee #58 and counting. Eventually they will land in the US and Canada. It will good to have choices. Automated Homebrewers is a real...

It takes time to work out kinks. Trust me. The one thing you want though is total transparency.

Hi Everyone, We're in the process of hiring additional staff for Customer Care. The Pico put a load on that department, more than anticipated. As much as we were prepared, we weren't! All apologies. We aren't that much off the wagon and are getting back to our 5 star service. In the...

You can brew 5 gallons you just need to ferment in a carboy or separate fermenter. We have a lot of customers who do. As the Z is designed to brew and ferment in the corny 5 gallons would be a bit mic due the Krausen. The max batch in a 5 g is 3.75 if you don't have a separate fermenter...

Hi, the machine on display is not running. I directed them to all of the questions you posted and asked they visit HBT. I reiterated the importance of communication. We had lots of delays with our products but kept the channels open with weekly communication. I didn't lecture them just stressed...
