Did you use a mesh bag or anything to contain the hops? If not, yes I'd imagine you have a fat layer of hops on the bottom of that keg. Especially with 4oz
That is interesting. I guess physics or whatever works differently in my imagination...thinking of using this method to steep a hop tea, but keeping the cans out of direct heat.
I would do a mash with as much water as you can fIt in your kettle + the grain..then pull the bag..squeeze then splarge to get to where you volume needs to be for boil.
When i was there we walked from brewery to brewery downtown the took a little drive to Oscar Blues. Its a nice drive and facility. Wicked Weed was the stand out downtown for sure.
