    I have mine taped to an 18 ounce jar of water with insulated bubble wrap, but it cycles 30 mins on and 1 hour off. I have a fan and insulated collar. Is that too often? Any ideas what I could do to help it?

    My keeper keeps cycling every 10 minutes for 1 minute. i have a collar which is insulated and a fan on the lid pointing down. its always room temperature in the room that its located in am i doing something wrong here? are there special settings i need to put? change fan location?

    Yeah I'm using my hydrometer. It's at 60F...I convert it as well. I was wondering if it can be my equipment profile. I did my final gravity test and it came out at 1.054 and it was estimated at 1.061 Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    I used beer smith to do all my calculations. i got my grained all milled at the LHBS. i was told a single batch sparge is more than enough. Any other advice?
