I have a fitting that is absolutely stuck in my ball valve. I have tried everything hand tool wise to free it with no luck. Is it ok to squirt WD40 on the fitting and valve to get it loose?

Does anyone else have issues with grain being fed down the side of the mill and not being pushed through the rollers? My mill is either open too far so it does a coarse crush, or too narrow that the grain goes down the side and isnt crushed at all.

I want to crank! I assume the handles for most of these mills are interchangeable, I bought my mill secondhand and it didn’t come with a handle. I know I can use a drill but I’m doing small batches and would prefer to hand crank it.

I’m stuck at about 210 deg on my stovetop at full blast. It’s rolling but I wouldn’t call it a true boil. Is this ok or do I need to consider alternatives? I have a lid partially on but doesn’t seem to add more than a degree.
