    Where to visit San Francisco

Lagunitas is 45 minutes from Downtown SF in Petaluma. Bear Repub is about another 45 past that. Lagunitas is cool, their outdoor environment is a cool lounge and they have beer on tap that they dont bottle, I recently had a habeniero beer. It was wierd, cool up front then the back of my...

    Northern California trip suggestions?

I live in the heart of sonoma county. Work a few miles from RRBC, if you go there, have a few, walk over to 3rd street ale works. They dont have the greatest beers, but its a nice change of pace. When you go to Lagunitas, either plan on the tour, or just sit outside their lounge and partake...

    What would you do?

I bet transferring it to secondary kicked it back in gear and its still fermenting, should hit high teens, but like Guldtuborg said, its still early. The 1-2-3 rule is only a base, some take longer to get where its going...especially if you just tossed in a pack of S33 with out making a starter.

Lagunitas - Same Flavor Throughout Styles?

I do not like Lagunitas in the bottle. I hate all their beer when its from a markets cold storage. However, their beer on TAP at their brewery is sooooo much better, all the beer has a "simular" flavor, but I attribute that to their over hopping every style they make. Their pilsner is great...

    Inline Aeration?

I use a venturi device I made from a portion of a broken siphon. Works like a charm, drilled about twelve 1/64 holes around the tube, the tube is about 4 inches long and attached to the end of the siphon hose in the ferm bucket. When I am done gravity draining from the kettle to the pri-ferm...

Going for the gold! (15 gallons of crazy)

Well, I cannot give my judgement on the concotion with out knowing what the top secret ingredient in a very small amount IS. Why even post it if your not going to tell us? With that being said, good luck and keep us posted, sounds like a mess and a gaggle, but will have alcohol providing the...
