    Haier hnse04bb conversion

In the process of converting this mini-fridge for a two-tap tower. Anyone know where the cooling lines are located? Also the Haier will be under the bar with the tower mounted 2-3 feet above it. Should I insulate the lines from the fridge up through the tower?

Does anyone know of a place in the U.S. that sells Bavarian-themed (blue/white diamond-pattern) bottle caps? Getting ready to bottle the Oktoberfest and want to make it special.

    Buy of the day

A friend of mine alerted me to some grolsch bottles at a garage sale. Walked away with 28 for $15. They need a little TLC but all are in great condition.

Thanks, guys. I'll see what (if anything) I can do with them.

    Brown hops

These are home grown of an undetermined variety and this year's crop decided to turn brown while I dried it. Are these stilled useable or are they a lost cause? I air-dried them in a green house with an average temp between 65-85 deg, depending on the time of day. Humidity was low because the...

    Building flavor profiles

Hi. Sorry for the late response. That's what I want to get to but I was mainly curious about individuals' preferred technique of doing it?

    Building flavor profiles

What I mean is to understand what each ingredient tastes like and how they contribute to the final batch. Do you eat raw grain, do you steep some in a little water and taste that? How do you "taste" hops to distinguish the different types without brewing a batch of beer?

    Building flavor profiles

Has anyone ever built flavor profiles for malts, hops, etc.? If so, what's your technique? I apologize if this subject has been covered already. I was unable to find previous threads.

Old Warwick; ever heard of it?

Our neighbors are selling an old sign which reads Old Warwick from Kentucky. I thought it might be from an old distillery but I am finding no info about any establishments named Old Warwick. Anyone out there ever heard of anything like that?

    Brew station first run!

Thanks. It really is a beast. I'm gonna have to label the valves on account of I have a memory like a pasta strainer and misdirect the flow.

    DIY Sparge head

I built this sparge head to compliment my cooler-based system (seen here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=539938 ) It's light, gets great coverage on the grain bed, screws right into the lid of my mash tun and best of all, it's dirt cheap to build. It separates for easy clean-up.

Hops is looking good. Can anyone identify?

Unfortunately, I'm not experienced enough to make that determination.

Hops is looking good. Can anyone identify?

Bought this hops four years ago from a greenhouse. I told them I wanted good I could brew with and they gave me this. They couldn't, however, tell me what kind of hops rhizome I was buying. Is there anyway to tell?
