Yes, ironically my fermenters are empty. However, that will change this weekend with a Sam Adams Summer Ale clone to be brewed on Saturday morning.

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Brewed my first 5 of Ed's Apfewein last night. What does dry cider mean? From what I am reading it will not taste like Hornsby. Could someone elaborate on the taste and what dry is. Thanks in advance.

What size Mash tun do I need?

That seems like an AWESOME price. Between the coolers and the hardware (valves, etc) you could have your 3-tier for about $100

    Favorite Brewing Music

I like to brew to a little Lynnard Skynnard. :rockin: Of course, with the 3-tier brewery and propane burners and hillbilly music the neighbors think I'm cookin' meth in the driveway.

10 gallons, 3 tiers, coolers, $15 ball valves

Yep, that's it. I did it two years ago when I set up my AG system and couldn't remember what I used. Thanks.

10 gallons, 3 tiers, coolers, $15 ball valves

Refresh my memory Dude...this is simply soaking the brass fittings in a solution of equal parts water and vinegar? When the solution turns a blue tint the brass is clean and good for the brewery when you can't get stainless steel. P.S. Nice set up Pol!

    Chances Of This Working

They are kevlar gloves, I used to wear one when wood working with sharp knives. The gloves will prevent you from being cut from a slicing motion, but will not protect against a poking or puncture wound.
