    DIY Hop Canon

    Reinoculate after filtering?

    Ok I made a bonehead move and filtered an Irish red before tasting it. Afterwards I noticed it has high acetaldehyde. I filtered using 2 stage at 5micron and 1micron. I am wondering if I can raise the temp back to 67deg and reinoculate with a yeast starter to clean up the acetaldehyde in it...

    Hefeweizen aging

    Any thoughts on the proper amount of time to allow a Bavarian wheat ale age ? I have read that it does not like to age long but any thought on what "long" is? So far it has been in primary for 4 days and secondary for 9 days and bottled for a little over a week normally for ale I let bottle...
