    A Big Oh ****

So I was transferring a $100 barley wine to secondary and putting it back in the closet, when you guessed it, I dropped it. So yeah 5.5 gallons of beer in my carpet. I used my spot rug cleaner to get as much as I could out as quick as possible. But, I'm pretty sure I may have only got 3 or so...

    Barley Wine Partigyle type question??

So I just finished my new and bigger mash tun, its a 52qt colman marine cooler, and I am itching to get a high gravity brew in. My old 5 gallon round beverage cooler had it's limitations on gravity. So I thought I would give a BW a try, my recipe is as follows. Eff: 75% OG 1.092 FG 1.025...

I added about 2 gallons of boiling water, then added a few crushed Camden tablets and let that sit for 24 hours. I then added a 10 lb bag of sugar and a can of frozen...

    Another starter question??

I was planning to brew tomorrow and was wondering of I could make a starter using honey or table sugar? I don't have any DME right now. I just harvested this yeast tonight and it is almost done being washed. I was going to fire up a starter as soon as the final washing is done.

Does anyone know of a good AG recipe for Bodington's? I really, really, really like that beer.

New here from Virginia Beach, VA

Hello everyone. My name is Ryan, just stopping in here to introduce myself. I have been home brewing on and off over the last 3 years, and I have just started getting into all grain brewing. In fact, the Oktoberfest Ale in my primary right now is my first all grain brew. I am really looking...
