HELP! I forgot to add the milk!

Wow, that's some really great advice, it really makes sense, but I never would have thought of that. Thanks! I'd really like to make some of the "real deal" stuff. I know it's kinda gross, but my wife is lactating, how much do you add at a time?

HELP! I forgot to add the milk!

It's skim so the fat doesn't mess up the head, what's this lactose sugar thing?

HELP! I forgot to add the milk!

Crap, I just dumped it in. It's pasteurized so it's like I boiled it.

HELP! I forgot to add the milk!

So you're saying it's better to add it late?

    Dry-Hopping Some Coors Original?

seems like there are better things to do with hops, but hell go for it. As far as amount and types of hops; you can't make it worse, so anything would be good.

    What are you drinking now?

Hooch... I mean skeeter pee, oh right, same thing.

Thoughts on the dry hop "tea" method....

That's a hopping method, but it's not dry hopping at all. It has a very similar effect to just using more late addition hops

    What's your favorite fertilizer?

Chicken **** is best (composted that is, it'll burn the plants if it's not). As far as things you can buy at a store, get a bag of dehydrated cow poop. Just top dress you're plants. That should be all you need to do.

    Rhizomes planted too soon

There is nothing to worry about if you planted them more than 1" deep. If you're really worried put another inch or three of soil on them... or mulch.

Unsure what is going on here....

Just skim the junk off of it and drink it. It's normal.

    interplant with rhubarb?

I've always found rhubarb to do better with a bit of shade and hops can't seem to get enough sun. Other than that, there seems to be no conflicts between the two. Hops do have a rather invasive root structure so if forgotten about for 10 years they may chock out the rhubarb, but I don't think...

If you are going to grow hops, please do it right

Wow, after reading the thread name I though it would be BS written by a ******. But it's all just sensible advice. I wouldn't have gone as far as saying the "right way" because there isn't a right way, but some are better than others. Most commercial hops farms are not organic by any means. So...

    Bottle Sanitation vs. Sterilization Issues

Yeah, I don't spend any time removing labels, why would you do that? It's good to be cleaner than paulster, but not necessary at all. I guess things could become a problem if you wanted to bottle age for a few months.

    All grain blow-over!

Like most things, it'll be fine. It would have been better to dry hop later, but it'll be fine. I would guess it was just a late starter

    Stainless steel drums

If they are stainless you can do just about anything with them. I know a guy over on homebrewfourms.net who is starting a project with 55gal drums, using them as kettle, mash tun, and spardge kettle.
