Dank IPA, is this dank enough?

Sounds like a great IPA. I definitely want to do a double dry hop when I have the time and carboy space. Currently I only have 2 carboys to work with and they tend to stay full. I guess I could lean more to 0 minute additions and let them steep and dump about 5 oz total of dry hop. Maybe...

Dank IPA, is this dank enough?

These are the hops I have in stock in my freezer. I also have Amarillo, cascade, bravo, and nugget. Just thought my hop selection would be on the dank level. I'm using Apollo to get that grapefruityness.

Dank IPA, is this dank enough?

Hello fellow home brewers! After brewing a Scottish Ale and a Wheat Ale (soon to be whatermelon wheat). I've decided to brew and IPA on the dank side. I want mild bitterness, pungent aroma, a great combo of earthiness, spicyness, citrus flavors. I really want this beer to smell and taste...

Hop Scotch Ale - Scottish Export

Yea I have a bunch of high alpha hops on deck. centennial was one of the lower ones. Its hop profile seemed to fit. Hoping for a little spicyness and earthiness from the centennial hop. Getting 15 IBUs all at 60mins. I think for the next Scottish ale I'll go more malty on the base grain and...

Hop Scotch Ale - Scottish Export

Yea maybe the next Scottish ale I brew will have a more maltier base. I looked up recipes with the grains I had on deck and also saw a few bjcp winners using cal ale yeast for an export Scottish ale. I read up more on the style. Saw that could have added some Munich and some flaked oats. I was...

    Brown Ale Grain Bill

I would cut the Amber Malt out and add 2.4 oz of roasted barley. Every maltster is different but at the home brew shop I go to their brown malt is amber malt. May be argumental but that's the info I've been told. Your grain bill is very simular to my chinook brown I've made in the past. Could...

Keg dry hopping or dry hop in primary

So I Brewed a Blind Pig clone w oak added 7 days to the primary. I also threw in 1/2 oz of cascade and 1 oz of centennial 7 days into primary. The recipe calls to rack off into a secondary or keg. Right now I don't have another fermenter to rack off to. I either want to try keg dry hopping or...

    First slurry starter

I kno I used half of what I harvested. I didn't save a lot due to not wanting so much extra yeast. I plan on brewing and pitching this starter this Sunday. Just wanted to give this starter some extra time.
