    I usually just strike all my water for brewing up front in my keggle like a warm water reservoir and then re heat as needed for each step. I think I'll just use a full tab in my 15g and call it good. Sound ok? Maybe I should get a chlorine test kit to be sure

    Grain Crush Question

    All I can say (I had one batch with a horrible OG) is due to poor efficiency the beer was well thin and tasted on the sweeter side. You could tell something was different and just not right. I would also assume without a full conversion you could have stuck fermentation problems.

    Better yeast for irish ale?

    Just popped the first bottle open. Taste a litte over roasted with a strong bready flavor. Next rime I'll prob cut back the roasted and change out the Brittish pale. I think the English yeast may have not finished as clean as I hoped also.

    Should I be worried about my glaciers then or do you think it was just that batch? I'm planning on 1.5oz Glacer@60 and 2oz Haller@30. Sound ok. Leaves me around 25IBU

    As going to brew 10G of a munic helles today Which was supposed to be magnum/hallertauer. Just realized I don't have any magnum. My substitue choices are : Citra 13.4 1oz Glacier 8.2 2oz Perle 8.2 .75oz Simcoe 12.4 2oz which do you think? I'm shooting for 18.1 IBU in a 10G batch Thanks
