How would this look for an IPA?

But would it be worth trying out?

How would this look for an IPA?

So out of curiosity, then, freely admitting that this was the result of playing around without any clue as to what I am doing ( :) ) what would you call something like this? How do you think it would turn out?

How would this look for an IPA?

How would this look for an all-extract IPA? Brew Method: Extract Boil Time: 60 min Batch Size: 23 liters (fermentor volume) Boil Size: 11 liters Boil Gravity: 1.130 STATS: Original Gravity: 1.062 Final Gravity: 1.012 ABV (standard): 6.63% IBU (tinseth): 43.62 SRM (morey): 11.15...

    Why LME vs DME?

Why use LME vs DME? What is the real difference between the two when doing all extract brewing, how do they affect the product? TIA

    Fix for cidery taste?

Can you elaborate? I was also told at the shop that DME rather than dextrose would help resolve this is future batches for just that reason.

    Fix for cidery taste?

Cracked a red ale made from a Brew Canada kit a week ago, sampled again today. It has been in the bottle for 4 weeks. The beer tastes thin and cidery to me, not offensive, but certainly below my expectations. I added only dextrose, per the kit instructions. Today I cracked an IPA from a...

Thommas Coopers IPA - Dry Hopping?

Popped the first one today, 1 week in primary, 3 in secondary with the dry hopping for the last week, and 3 weeks in the bottle. Good carbonation, nice head, good clarity, and most important - tastes great!

Easy way to get blank bottles for competitions

I tried 1-1/2 oz. in 1 gallon, three bottles: Hockley Dark, 1 liter swing top; Mill Street Tank House, and Steam Whistle. Left for 2 weeks. Didn't touch them at all. I would be happy to have a real solution.

Thommas Coopers IPA - Dry Hopping?

So here is a "is this normal?" question: Picked up a hop bag when I bought the hops, was told I didn't need to worry about infection from the hops, but thought I should do something with the bag. I thoroughly wetted it in StarSan, wrung it out, dropped in the hops, tied a piece of fishing...

Thommas Coopers IPA - Dry Hopping?

Racked to the secondary today, looking at an ABV of ~ 4.86%. I picked up a 56g package of Amarillo yesterday, planning on dropping it in for the last 7 days before bottling.

Thommas Coopers IPA - Dry Hopping?

Fairly new to this "sport". Tonight I dropped a Thomas Cooper's IPA into the primary. Used 454g Munton's Spraymalt Plain Light and 800g of dextrose. Temperature adjusted OG is 1.043, so I am hoping for ~ 5% ABV. I pitched the Coopers yeast in the kit. I like hoppy beers and I was wondering...
