You could just measure the bung you have for the airlock and cut a hole in the lid to suit the bung so that the bung fits tight and no air can get in or out around it.

hello I bought a coopers sparkling ale kit and the yeast in it i think might be out of date the number on it is 32009 PS. Can you tell me if its out of date does this number mean the third month 2009.

can you tell me how much table sugar i need to prime 1 gallon of cider and its cloudy cider i stopped it at 1010 from 1058 and racked it in to a secondery fermentor, next to bottle it but need to no how much sugar to bulk prime it. then stove pasturize after a week or so.

i also read pappers artical on how to stop the yeast but will this work if my cider is cloudy.

The coopers canadian blonde brew i made turned out really good too i will be making it again all my friends that tasted it taught it was real easy drank and a good clean taste. Mine also was low in vol% but it tasted good :). mine was a constant 22c all through the fermention and the bottling.

I like the sound of putting all in myself the stronger the better but the taste has to be there aswell :ban: :D
