is my packet of yeast out of date

I bought a coopers sparkling ale kit and the yeast in it i think might be out of date the number on it is 32009 PS.
Can you tell me if its out of date does this number mean the third month 2009.

Never used it but the website says there should be a 'best before' stamp.

Packaging
Nitrogen flushed, thermal resistant foil sachets, specially packed under reduced oxygen environment to maintain its viability and shelf life. Individually packed into 7 and 15 gram sachets with the best before date stamped into the packaging.

If thats the only stamp on it....

That is the packing date. The 320th day of 2009. The yeast is good.
