    Chill Station

This is the rig it will hang off of, it took about 2 years on and off

    Chill Station

I just put it together a day ago. LarMoeCur is correct, I intentionally have a 90 on the inlet because it will hang on the side of my cart. Gravity will not have an issue there. All I need is about a 18 inch piece of tubing from the kettle valve to the pump inlet. That plug on the left will be...

    DIY ChillWizard Collaboration interest

Isn't there anyone that has any thoughts or ideas? We have plenty of other folks who have made their own system like these, this is the exact place for this type of project. If anyone has any ideas or locations for the materials needed, please provide the details on this thread. I can get the...

    DIY ChillWizard Collaboration interest

Folks, I am in the process of completing my electric brewing system and all I have left to complete it is a cooling system. I am considering building my own cip chillwizard. I would like to use a duda chill plate and a MKII pump. Those two items together are approx. $150.00. I was planning on...

    New Pumps from HF?

I think this may be the best value. The MKII Pump from Keg King is a magnetic drive high temperature pump capable of pumping hot wort at temperatures of up to 248° F and it costs about 70 dollars, for an extra 29 you can get a SS pump housing.

    New Pumps from HF?

I have never seen any pump listed as sanitary unless it had a 1000.00 price tag associated to it. Personally I have never seen a pump sold specifically for brewing that was considered sanitary, unless you are moving up to commercial. The only thing we need be concerned about is can it be...

    New Pumps from HF?

That 77f has to be a typo. I might call the service number during business hours tomorrow. This thing look identical to a little giant pump. It appears to have a brass head so one would hope it would not melt but have no idea what the impeller is made of, perhaps Buna?

    New Pumps from HF?

Has any attempted to use these 110v pumps from Harbor Freight? They are made by Drummond at 54.95. Wondered if they can handle the heat while doing a recirc for BIAB

Help me go all-grain for $100

Best advice to you would be to make friends with your local breweries. They were all home brewers at one time and very well still could be. Develop a friendship. If you are just starting out, do not let people stress you about efficiency, bottom line is if you hit your numbers with your recipe...

    Inkbird itc100 pid.

I recently purchased an InkBird PID myself. Prior to receiving it, I downloaded a manual off the website and received a small paged manual/ quick guide with the PID itself. Obviously your probe wires are reversed and did you include a jumper across two of the three probe connections? You can...

    Inkbird ITC-100 set up question?

I got a new inkbird ITC-100 pid over the weekend and I downloaded both manuals from their webpage. Unfortunately, the documents state that a J thermocouple is either set at a 4 or a 5, depending on which document you are following. Does anyone know of the definite setting? Thx in advance

Does anyone know of a dual threaded 240v element?

I forgot to mention that already have welded a one inch fitting into the side of my kettle

Does anyone know of a dual threaded 240v element?

I see a lot of three phase elements that have a interior and exterior threads. If we can locate heating elements like these, it would be easier to create element enclosures or even purchase them from the BrewPi store. Has anyone had any luck in locating 240v elements like this?

    Heating Element Enclosures

Crane, would you mind taking a few pictures of the element not installed on the pot? I question how the element is secured into the housing. Thx

    Heating Element Enclosures

Guys, I am been slowly working on an electric system and I am in need of an element enclosure for the system. I have had a 1" bulkhead fitting welded into my 20 gallon pot for the heating element to screw into, not I would like to purchase an enclosure that is decent looking. Since most heating...
