Dogfish Head T-Shirt (new / never worn)

I visited the brewery down in DE, bought the shirt, tried it on at home....and unfortunately it doesn't fit so here I am selling it. I'm selling an XL "Ghetto Tee" seen here (https://www.dogfish.com/store/nakedness-prevention/tees/ghetto-tee.htm). It's the exact same green shirt as on the...

    pressure treated wood

I used regular ol' lumber for my raised garden and all is well three years later...no signs of deterioration. Pressure treated, cedar, etc. costs way too much.

Hops grow from the top down?

<---first time grower. I got two plants, one which has grown a good 20feet up the side of the house. It has shot out plenty of side vines for the past month+ or so. I'd go outside daily and look for cones, but never saw any. Finally, yesterday I go outside with my wife, we look up in the sky...

    Ultrasonic repellent for japanese beetles

I have a feeling you'll waste your $63 and that thing will end up in the basement/garage as you try to figure out if you could use the parts to make something else. I picked up a "beetle bag" from Home Depot for $5 or so to see if that works. Apparently it works amazingly well for the dude in...

My neighbors kid ruined my hops!

Hey it's not my fault I forgot to water the plants! With my new license and dad's BMW, I've been attracting more females than ever before. I already used that $40 to refill the tank so please don't shoot me!!!

Curious... Who here hunts, fishes, gardens, preserving, gathers etc?

Gardening is great. The next thing I pick up is hunting since just last week a bunch of deer managed to eat every single one of my pepper plants along with the tops of a bunch of tomato plants before deciding they don't care for tomatoes. Things to buy: shotgun, meat grinder, sausage spices.

    First Time Home Buyer!

Haha...I agree with broadbill. If you have a wife, then house/yardwork will be the least of your concerns. Have fun spending the next few weekends at Lowe's, Home Depot, Raymour & Flanigan, etc. Congrats on the house!

What's your favorite "big" commercial beer?

At first quick read I thought he meant big brands as in "when you don't drink your own stuff/local/micros, what standard brand do you go with?", not big as in high alcohol volume. I'm slightly illiterate.

    Grolsch bottle maximum carbonation

Run some tests and let us know how much CO2 it takes to blow a Grolsch bottle up.

What's your favorite "big" commercial beer?

PS...If "big" means high alcohol volume (as hinted in the OP), then yeah DFH 90 ain't too shabby.

What's your favorite "big" commercial beer?

I was expecting to see actual "big" brands, instead it seems this thread is being used to show off (?) one's knowledge of micro/obscure brews. Anyhow, on a hot summer day and when the wallet is running thin, an ice cold Schaefer is my go-to.
