Would the first draft of a keg make a good starter? I would draft the first pint in a jar then chill 2 days and decant the beer. Would the yeast make a good starter? Seems like I am dumping good yeast down the drain with the first pint.
My fermenter has been in a tub of water for 10 days I would like to take it out so I can add another fermenter. Will a rise in temperture hurt my beer at this point? It is an AHS Cream Ale.
Just tapped mine today and it is great. Made the dme mini mash per AHS recipe,three weeks in a primed keg then one week in the keezer may make this a regular brew.
Hello from Indiantown Gap area. This forum is great learned alot here. Now brewining mini mash and yeast washing thanks to this forum. I have done 11 brews so far and they are much better than store bought.
