Adding coffee to primary - stirring?

I'd like to add some cold-steeped coffee to my Imperial Stout but I have few questions. The beer has been brewing for six days now and I think the fermentation is about over (I'm aiming for a 7-8 alc% beer). I was thinking to cold-steep the coffee and put a bit of rum on it keep things...

    Have I created a monster?

Yes that was the yeast I used. Should I stop it with some wine fermenting stopper? Is that what you mean with chemical stabilization? What do you mean I could drink it pretty quick? :D

    Have I created a monster?

The tube I used to measure gravity was so small that when the juice had sugar on it it could not move freely... The Idared has a white flesh with a firm body, and generally considered to be tart and juicy.

Too little spray malt? Should I add more?

So I started brewing this monday and next day the airlock bubbled really good and this continued few days but tomorrow it's silent. Havent seen new bubbles at all. Should I be worried or is this because of the small amount (17l as the container is 30l) or the lack of spray malt / sugar?

    Weird "draughtish amberish" beer

Hello everybody and everyone. I just moved this odd thing to secondary, let me hear what you think. First I boiled like 7 litres of water, added one can of Coopers Draught, and one can of Bernsteins Medium Ambre (unhopped). Boiled and stirred them like 10 minutes, then used running water to...

My first try...Will it be any good?

Got another question. I now siphoned the beer to secondary, and everything looks OK. Ill let it be there 2 weeks, and then I bottle it. Should I then leave the bottles to room temperature for some time or should I transfer them to colder place (in this case my cellar). I read that the beer...

My first try...Will it be any good?

Ahh ok, so the idea is to get rid of the yeast? Aint there a risk on bacterias keeping the beer on second container couple of weeks?

My first try...Will it be any good?

Another question on this one. Did I understand it right that the second fermentation container should be air-tight, or with an waterlock like the first one as well? I think it should be just airtight letting no air come out? Should I keep it on same place as it was (my closet, about 19-20...
