I have the AHS Southern Brown Ale that's been conditioning for 3 weeks now. I opened one last night and it is lightly carbed. I'm assuming I just need to wait longer. I used 4.5oz corn sugar for it and let it condition at 74.
I've got a brown ale that's been conditioning for a little over 2 weeks now and it's till not fully carbonated. I opened one last night and it still has a ways to go.
I have a busy weekend coming up. I have 2 brews waiting, an Irish Summer Ale and a Lawnmower Lager. I also have a Pale Ale ready to bottle. Not too mention all the other crap I have to do this weekend. Weekends need to be longer.
Did I screw up? I got 2 kits back on March 6th with crushed grains. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to brew them yet because of a family emergency. They have been sealed in plastic and kept in a dark room. Are they ruined?
I just did a Raspberry Wheat using the Oregon Puree. I did 2 cans in the primary and it is way too much Raspberry. I would recommend one can in Secondary for a week.
I was very lucky and came out with just a few bumps and bruises.
As for the Connie, I'm not sure. Surprisingly I've had trouble getting comfortable on it. Plus I miss the torque of the B-King. That bike would rip your arms off. The B-King just fit me perfectly. If I had to do it over...
This man knows what he's talking about. I had a 2008 B-King that got crushed by a Suburban in December. Instead of buying another B-King I got a 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14. I deeply regret not getting another B-King. Best bike I've had and I've probably had at least 15 bikes.
This is a pic of the lacing from my first brew a Raspberry Wheat. Its been in the bottle for 10 days now. Still needs a bit more time to condition but carbonation is decent. The raspberry flavor is a bit too pronounced right now though.
I just did this. It will sink to the bottom with the yeast. Just rack off of it like you normally would. Be careful not to stir up the trub. I'd move it 24 hours before you are ready to bottle that way if you disturb the trub you give it plenty of time to settle out.
