    I have read that adding bananas or raisins during fermentation will add body to wine. How much of either or both should be added per gallon? Doing a pinot noir from concentrate from home winery. Any opinions are appreciated.

    I added sorbate waited a couple days then backsweetened. this not happened to me before either. can I add clearing agent after backsweetening? thanks for the quick response.

    I used simple syrup to sweeten and it seemed to make the wine cloudy. Did I screw something up? How long should it take to clear again?

    Thanks for everyones responses and suggestions. It seems that stirring with the coper pipe for 10 minutes eliminated the smell.

    I am a newbie to jaom. Started a batch about 2 months ago. Fruit has not dropped yet. I guess it needs to clear more? Is this like wine where u should be able to read print through it? Getting anxious to bottle and taste.

    Any thoughts on topping up a muscat concentrate? Done fermenting. Bought muscat concentrate and dont want to sweeten yet as it is not clear. Thanks in advance
