I also use the RTC-600C from ThermoWorks, fantastic thermometer for the price ($19). I would highly recommend it for people wanting something a little less expensive.

I used that same weldless bulkhead in my recent build. Highly recommended, it was super easy to drill and install. 5500W TC element with integrated L6-30P slipped right in. Makes for a clean and easy install, I would use again if I did another build.
