    IPA using 'Cali Ale' was 4 days into fermentation. Pitched yeast Friday. 8 hour lag before signs of ferment/krausen forming -- everything looked great. 4 days later I used the wrong controller to cold crash another beer. The IPA in question got down to 51 degrees F. Has anyone experienced...

    keg fitting gaskets...quick question.

    Anyone know where to purchase these tiny gaskets (image attached). I have ordered from 3 different Amazon sites. But they don't supply them. Not sure what they are called... they are on the top right of the image..

    :) sometimes others do 95 degrees f...... But yeah that was my thinking. It is maybe fermenting hot but the yeast isn't the normal strain that we're used to.

    Lol me too. But i am brewing this same 11 gallon batch on Thursday with Cali ale. I actually brewed a smaller 6 gallon hazy today. Going to use Lutra kveik.

    Yeah. Thanks. I drink tap water regularly when I'm too lazy to walk in the middle of the night lol..... it taste good. And the brews i did in-between those in question are fine - i clean the system the same with those brews - using tap water.

    Forgot the airlock on my fermzilla

    Lol i accidentally forgot my spunding valve once and it went to 40. When i released it. OMG that thing went nuts. Blow tie... such a mess.... the beer turned out really well. But recreating it would be funny. It was a stronger side ipa if i remember.

    Thanks. It was also interesting how it tasted like a lager. Almost like a Munich Helles. Like it was brewed using lager yeast.

    Also, has anyone had a bad experience with this yeast in the past month? I dumped 3 batches so far. I made a thread about it in 'general forum section'. Another poster said he has been dumping batches as well using Hornindal.
