    Will ‘regular’ lids fit on the yvh buckets. Gamma is not needed but nice.

    Dont have a solution for the YVH buckets but food grade buckets can be found at home depot lowes etc. gmma lids and those work great. maybe use yvh to hold milled grain before mashing in? Curious to see if others have suggestions.

    Agree with earlier. Do a forced diacetyl test on a sample to see if you even need to d rest. What was your fermentation schedule? Mochten sie Eis dunkel?

    i take it you didn't harvest the yeast? I have 3 packs of this that we were given before it was made available to the public. Been in the fridge the whole time. Maybe i should get a brew going and freeze some yeast. Hook Em!

    The alcohol will add body. I think that FG will make it more drinkable too. Sounds delish.

    Well. I was joking. Sorry if it upset you. I think the O2 bit is overplayed. If you fermented half full carboy then O2 will get scrubbed out. Purging with CO2 will be fine. If no CO2 tank then rack early transferring some yeast slurry with it will also work. Oil should work but with my luck I’d...

    ICP for Calcium ion yes but surely you mean ion chromatograph coupled with mass spec? Or ar you referring to GC to measure the chloride (as chlorine?)
