    What is OG going to be? What size batch? How big of a starter can you make at once? I would go with biggest starter you can make vs. stepping up many smaller ones.

    Even with the addtions it does sound a bit high. What yeast did you use? Your Apparent Attenuation is 60%. Your ABV is about 6.4% Did you just check the gravity once before racking? It sounds like it needed more time in the primary on the yeast. Give it another week or two and see what happens.
